At 11 weeks. Ella weighed in on Wed at just over 12 pounds and measured about 23 inches. So she is growing well.

She will be 3 months old in just over a week. I can't believe it. Time flies!!!!!

She is very steady with her head and upper body. She does alot of talking. Kind of fun since she is stringing along different sounds. Really sounds like she is trying to talk. It is sooo cute. I don't remember this phase with Claire. Well until much later.

She is holding, grabbing and batting at her toys. She holds onto the rings of the ever so famous "Mr. Butterfly". I give her this in her car seat. This was one of Claire's favorites.

Still sleeping through the night. She starts to get sleepy around 8:30-9PM. Let her fall asleep downstairs and then wake her for the last feed between 10-10:30PM. She then sleeps till 7:30-8AM. This morning she slept till 8:20AM. We will be moving her to her crib over the next few days. Sniff Sniff. I did not think I was going to have an issue with it but now that it is here I am sad. She needs to be in her own room. I want to start putting her down for the long night sleep earlier so we need to do it.

As far as naps she does OK I guess. I always put her down 2 hours after she is up in the morning. She will only sleep for about 45 min in her crib. I think it may be because she is ready to eat. So I guess when I move her to every 4 hour feedings she might sleep longer. That is the only scheduled nap. The others happen throughout the day in her carseat or downstairs. Eventually I would like to have a second afternoon nap routine. We will see.
