It is official! Claire is now a full time walker. Took her some time to get to this point but that was only because her priority was learning as much words as she can. I guess she felt satisfied (well at least for the time) and decided it was time to work on the walking thing.
She is getting fast too. Up until this point we have not had to install a gate at the top of the stairs. She was never too fast for me to catch when crawling and does well at going down the stairs backwards. Now I put her down after a diaper change and in a quick second she is down the hallway and making the turn toward stairs. I find myself chasing her. I get nervous that she will try to walk down stairs. Sometimes (when she actually wants to go downstairs) she will stop, go to her knees and go backwards down. I like that :)
Anyway she is fully mobile. Kind of exciting. She is really growing up.
